Homework: Week 4

Everyone

-          Read Chapter 4.   

-          Read and review Psalm 25:1-12; make it your Daily Prayer this week.

-          List bullet points during the week where you are experiencing trouble. 

Example: If you have a trust issue with God and keep picking up the responsibility for something instead of handing over to God

1.       Begin to read Psalm 25:1-12. 

2.       Read Until – Read God’s Word Until He Speaks

3.       Stop and pray about what God said to you in His Word.

4.       When He stops you, meditate on this.  God is speaking to you about something.  This is also part of communication process with God.

5.       Analyze His reason for stopping you at that particular point in His Word.

6.       Discover the need God knows you have; discover what He is saying to you in the verses.  Determine what you can do to change – Knowledge.

7.       Take Action - Ask God to help you in this issue. 

-          Review Handout Week 4.  Bring thoughts for next week discussion.

-          Bring a spiral notebook to keep notes for your Spiritual Diary.
